Ok - so swimwear is a mandatory, despite how much i HATE baring my upper arms and thighs in public. I need to be able to get in the water with the kids - it's just something I can't escape. So, I want something that doesn't make me look like an 80-yr-old at swim aerobics at the "Y" yet covers the most unattractive pieces of my body...as many as possible anyway. I need it to mask my stomach as much as possible - hold in the ladies and cover up the upper thighs. This is probably impossible in anything that resembles fashionable anyway. So here is what I've found so far. Please leave a comment and vote for your favorite. Realize if I get NO comments on this post I will be extremely sad - might eat brownies.....therein worsening the already depressing swimsuit situation. Don't be an enabler.....COMMENT!

i say the second one - i like that it has a criss cross look for the bra area and the empire waist - it draws the eyes up instead of down.
the first one is a fun fabric though and like that one second best.
love, your sister
You will look beautiful in any of the suits pictured, but I like the 1st one the best! I love the pattern and think the halter top is flattering on any figure! Have you checked out the board shorts at Target? They are super cute, comfy & easily go with any swim top. I KNOW you like Target!!
I, too, loathe swimsuit season yet opted for the Miracle Suit by Eddie Bauer. I paid through the nose but it sure holds in as many parts as possible.
Now if the weather would just warm up!
I agree with jami. I like the 2nd one. Lands End (can be found at Sears too) have underwire bras in their suits and have great tummy control in their skirts. They are super expensive, though - but well worth the money!
I feel fashionable since I like the same ones as Jami.
So, that means the first two get my vote.
I like the first one and the last one. The second one looks like it has good "girl" support but also looks like it makes the lady seem like she is preggers..... just me maybe! LOL
Let us know what you decide!
#1 gets my vote, too!
Good luck!
faerie mom - yikes! DEFINITELY don't want/need any help trying to NOT look pregnant! Good observation that I'll definitely have to take under consideration! Looks like a dead-heat here...decisions, decisions....hmmm. the debate continues.
The May 30 issue of All You magazine (walmart mag) has a guide in it for findingt he right bathing suit for your body type. You may want to pick it up and take a look. I thought it was a pretty good guide. And the mag is cheap! Less than $2.
I like the last one.
